Dragonhawks are a type of huge birds which in many ways have more resemblence with vultures but are widely considered to be well deserving such a much more glamerous name.
Dragonhawks are quite intelligent and can be easily trained by a patient and assertive trainer. Fully grown dragonhawks are strong enough to carry riders with light gear, but there are few people experienced enough with them to risk such an attempt. Dragonhawk trainers who know how to train these beasts as mounts usually get very generously rewarded by their masters on a regular basis.
